Abstract

Essential oil from the ground tops of the lemon Monarda plant was obtained through the hydrodistillation method using the Ginzberg device. The highest essential oil content was observed in the leaves. The resulting essential oil samples “Mass-spectrum” analysis using the gas chromatography method studied the component composition of the essential oil and found the presence of 36 components. Of these, 17 articles were identified. The main group was formed by monoterpenes and their derivatives. It was observed that the composition of the sample consists mainly of phenol and terpenoid components.
